A classic and forgiving bonsai that is hard to get wrong. This 15 year old Chinese Elm measures 45 cm and is already nicely shaped, making it a rewarding companion for a bright windowsill or a sheltered spot outdoors.
The Chinese Elm is one of the most popular bonsai trees worldwide because it is strong, adaptable and very forgiving. It develops lovely small green leaves that create a lush, natural look, and it responds quickly to simple care. Whether you are just starting out or adding to a collection, it is a dependable and rewarding choice.
The drip tray is the one shown in the picture — if you can't see a drip tray in the photo, the tree doesn't come with one; if you'd like a drip tray or other pot options, contact us privately at info@bonsainest.dk.
Extra tip: If the leaves start to yellow, it is almost always a watering problem – check that the soil drains freely and never sits in standing water.
Every tree ships with a free care guide. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, give it a bright spot without harsh midday sun, and feed once or twice a month in the growing season. Questions? Write to us any time — care advice is free for the life of your tree.
