You have 30 days from delivery to see how your tree settles in. If something is not right, contact us and we will replace it or refund you. Care questions are always welcome — also long after your purchase.
The most popular indoor bonsai in the world – tough, forgiving, with glossy leaves and a sculptural trunk. This 17 year old Ficus Retusa already has the thick trunk and glossy canopy that make it such a dependable indoor tree.
Ficus Retusa is the safest place to start with bonsai: it tolerates imperfect conditions, missed waterings and dry indoor air better than almost any other species. Its glossy leaves and thick, sculptural trunk make it instantly recognisable and easy to enjoy indoors.
The drip tray is the one shown in the picture — if you can't see a drip tray in the photo, the tree doesn't come with one; if you'd like a drip tray or other pot options, contact us privately at info@bonsainest.dk.
Extra tip: It may drop a few leaves after a move or a repot – this is normal, and as long as the branches stay green and flexible it will refoliate. Keep it warm and bright.
Every tree ships with a free care guide. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, give it a bright spot without harsh midday sun, and feed once or twice a month in the growing season. Questions? Write to us any time — care advice is free for the life of your tree.
