Return & Refund Policy – Bonsai Nest

At Bonsai Nest, we specialize in delivering healthy, beautiful bonsai trees that bring life and elegance to your home. Due to the delicate and living nature of bonsai trees, our return policy differs from standard products.

Returns

Bonsai trees are living plants that can deteriorate quickly, so we cannot accept returns once they have been shipped. This is in accordance with Danish and EU consumer law exemptions for perishable or living goods.

Damaged or Dead Trees

If your bonsai arrives damaged, dead, or not as described, Bonsai Nest will assist promptly:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@bonsainest.dk.

  2. Provide photos of the package and tree for verification.

After review, Bonsai Nest will:

  • Send a replacement tree, or

  • Issue a full refund.

Note: Minor leaf shedding, slight cosmetic variations, or natural stress during transport are normal and not considered damage.

Responsibility After Shipment

Bonsai Nest ensures every tree is carefully packaged for safe transport.
Once the tree is handed over to the carrier, Bonsai Nest is no longer responsible for damage or loss during transit. Customers are advised to unpack the tree immediately upon delivery and follow the care instructions included with each bonsai.

Detailed care instructions are included with every bonsai. Proper care upon delivery helps reduce stress and ensures your tree thrives.
