5|At Bonsai Nest, we take pride in delivering healthy, beautiful bonsai trees to your door. Each tree is carefully packaged by hand to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

13|Note: Due to the living nature of bonsai trees, we may limit shipments to certain EU regions when necessary to guarantee safe delivery. We will always inform you before processing your order if this applies.

26|Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email once your order ships.

33|These are estimates. Delivery may take longer during peak periods, carrier delays, or extreme weather. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of shipment, please contact us at info@bonsainest.dk and we will investigate.

35|5. Packaging

37|Every bonsai tree is packed in a protective box with cushioning material. We recommend unpacking your tree immediately upon delivery and checking for signs of transport stress. Full care instructions are included with every order.

41|Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Use the carrier's website to follow your package in real time.

43|7. 30-Day Bonsai Nest Guarantee

45|We stand behind every tree we sell. If your bonsai tree arrives damaged, dead, or fails to thrive within 30 days of delivery, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund — no questions asked. Simply contact us at info@bonsainest.dk with photos of the tree. This is our commercial guarantee to you, above and beyond your statutory rights.

47|8. Responsibility During Transit

49|Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 20), Bonsai Nest bears the risk of loss or damage to your order during transit. Risk passes to you only when you — or someone you designate who is not the carrier — take physical possession of the goods. Your tree is our responsibility until it reaches your hands.

51|9. Legal Guarantee (Reklamationsret)

53|In addition to our 30-day guarantee, all products purchased from Bonsai Nest are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven § 83). This guarantee covers defects that existed at the time of delivery — for example, a tree that was already diseased, pest-infested, or misidentified when shipped. It does not cover damage or death caused by improper care after delivery. For defects discovered within the first 12 months, the defect is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we can prove otherwise. Between 12 and 24 months, you may need to show that the defect was present at delivery.
