Shipping Policy – Bonsai Nest

At Bonsai Nest, we take pride in delivering healthy, beautiful bonsai trees at designated pakkeshops around Denmark and in the future across the European Union. Each tree is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Shipping Locations

Currently, we ship to:

  • Denmark – main shipping zone

  • (Not yet) European Union – additional shipping charges may apply

Note: Due to the delicate nature of bonsai trees, we prioritize safe delivery and may limit shipments to certain EU regions if necessary.

Shipping Rates

Denmark:

  • Orders under 999 DKK: Standard shipping – 79 DKK

  • Orders 999 DKK and above: Free shipping

(Not yet) European Union:

  • Standard shipping: 149 DKK

Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.

Delivery Time

  • Denmark: 2–5 business days

  • EU countries: 5–10 business days

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or weather conditions.

Packaging & Care

  • Each bonsai tree is packaged individually in a protective box with cushioning material.

  • We recommend immediately unpacking your bonsai and checking for any transport stress.

  • Detailed care instructions are included with every tree.

Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

  • You can track your package using the carrier’s website to see real-time delivery updates.

Damaged or Lost Items

  • Bonsai Nest takes every precaution when packaging your order.

  • Once the tree has been handed over to the carrier, Bonsai Nest is no longer responsible for damages, delays, or losses during transit.

  • If your bonsai arrives damaged or dead, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@bonsainest.dk with photos of the package and tree. We will assist with claims to the carrier.
