A graceful evergreen with colourful foliage and delicate fringe flowers. This 4 year old Chinese Fringe Flower measures 42 cm, with deep burgundy leaves and pink ribbon-like blooms along the branches.
Loropetalum is loved for its small oval leaves, colourful new growth and the fringed flowers that appear on the previous season's wood. It responds well to pruning and develops fine ramification over time, so it is rewarding to shape. Native to China, Japan and Southeast Asia, it makes a striking indoor bonsai here in Denmark.
The drip tray is the one shown in the picture — if you can't see a drip tray in the photo, the tree doesn't come with one; if you'd like a drip tray or other pot options, contact us privately at info@bonsainest.dk.
Extra tip: If it stops flowering, move it somewhere brighter – Loropetalum needs good light to keep producing its fringe blooms.
Every tree ships with a free care guide. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, give it a bright spot without harsh midday sun, and feed once or twice a month in the growing season. Questions? Write to us any time — care advice is free for the life of your tree.
