A sun-loving Mediterranean pine with fine green needles and a rugged, characterful trunk – at home on a bright balcony or terrace. This 12 year old Aleppo Pine already shows the sturdy movement and rough bark of the species.
Aleppo Pine comes from the warm Mediterranean coast, where it grows on dry, rocky ground and shrugs off heat and drought. In a pot it responds well to shaping and produces small, scale-appropriate needles, making it one of the friendliest pines for anyone starting out with conifers.
The drip tray is the one shown in the picture — if you can't see a drip tray in the photo, the tree doesn't come with one; if you'd like a drip tray or other pot options, contact us privately at info@bonsainest.dk.
Extra tip: A pine is an outdoor tree – give it sun and a cold winter rest and it will grow steadily for years. Overwinter it under shelter so the roots never freeze solid.
Every tree ships with a free care guide. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, give it a bright spot without harsh midday sun, and feed once or twice a month in the growing season. Questions? Write to us any time — care advice is free for the life of your tree.
